Our team will arm you with the information and resources you need to meet the challenge of a breast cancer diagnosis with confidence, dignity and hope. This free guide will help you understand some of the most common questions about breast cancer, such as:
Finding the Right Treatment for You
Breast cancer stages and types help us determine the most effective course of action. From traditional treatments like surgery, chemotherapy and radiation to alternative therapies and clinical trials, your supportive team will build a plan that puts some of the most advanced medical research and procedures to work for you.
Using sophisticated radiation technology, we can target tumors with amazing precision, reducing pain and leaving healthy tissue untouched. Radiation therapy targets specific areas of the body, shrinking tumors and killing cancer cells by damaging their DNA. For eligible patients, advanced radiation therapy options like intra-operative radiation therapy (IORT) may be an expedited treatment option.
Our fellowship-trained surgeons place a strong emphasis on treating tumors with techniques that optimize each patient’s recovery. The type of breast cancer surgery, including a lumpectomy, mastectomy or post-treatment resection, is determined after a thorough review of patients' medical history and test results.
