Let Us Be Your Guide
Have questions about men’s cancer screenings? Our team put together this guide on colorectal, lung and prostate cancer — and what to expect with screenings for each — so you can be informed and stay on track with your health.
Men’s health screenings are more than just routine appointments. In many cases, it’s a screening that saves a life. Colorectal, prostate and lung screenings help catch cancer early, when it’s easiest to treat — and often before symptoms start, too.
Colon Cancer
Colon cancer is more than 90% curable if diagnosed early. You’re eligible to start colorectal screenings at age 45 with an average risk of colon cancer — an update from the previously recommended age 50.
Our team can perform colorectal cancer screening tests like stool-based tests (yearly), minimally invasive options like a flexible sigmoidoscopy or a CT colonography scan (every five years) and colonoscopies (every 10 years). If you’re due for a screening, schedule with us today – physician referral may be required.
Or call us at 800-403-9413.
If your colorectal, prostate or lung cancer screening shows signs of cancer, rest assured that our leading oncologists and Nurse Navigators will be by your side at every step. We’ll explain your results, talk through your options and craft a treatment plan with your whole health in mind.

Routine men’s health screenings don’t just give you peace of mind; they help ensure you can be there for the ones you love for years to come. If you’re experiencing concerning symptoms or are due for a colonoscopy, prostate or lung screening, schedule your appointment today to stay ahead of cancer.
Prostate Cancer
Because prostate cancer now affects 1 in 8 men in the U.S., screenings are more important than ever. You’re eligible to start annual prostate cancer screenings at age 45 if you have a high risk of prostate cancer, or at age 50 if you have an average risk.
Scheduling a prostate cancer test with our primary care providers is simple. Your exam may include either a digital rectal exam (DRE) or a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) blood test. If further testing is needed, our Nurse Navigators can connect you with a urologist for additional care.
Lung Cancer
After prostate cancer, lung cancer is the most common cancer among American men, and it often doesn’t show any symptoms until it’s more advanced. You’re eligible for a lung cancer screening if you’re at a high risk, meaning you’re age 50 or older and have smoked one pack of cigarettes per day for 20 years or two packs for at least 10 years.
Our Nurse Navigators can connect you with a specialist who can perform lung cancer screenings like low-dose computed tomography (CT) scans, which are available as a self-pay option for $150 at most of our imaging centers. If you meet the high-risk criteria, most insurances will cover your lung cancer screening.
We’ve been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in radiation oncology as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). The ACR seal of accreditation represents the highest level of quality and patient safety.
