Yaphet Tilahun, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Colorectal Surgeon

Yaphet Tilahun, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified and Ivy League-educated colon and rectal surgeon skilled in minimally invasive and laparoscopic surgery. Dr. Tilahun completed his advanced subspecialty training at Brown University Warren Alpert Medical School. Prior to that time, he was chief resident in general surgery at AdventHealth Orlando, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. He earned his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts (UM) Medical School in Worcester and holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in microbiology from UM Amherst. .

Norbert Garcia-Henriquez, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Colorectal Surgeon

Norbert Garcia-Henriquez, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon. He specializes in minimally invasive procedures to manage colon and rectal cancer, including advanced laparoscopy and transanal surgery. Dr. Garcia-Henriquez has a special interest in managing complex inflammatory bowel disease and is proficient in treating all common and complex anorectal disorders, including hemorrhoids, fistula in ano, and perianal and perirectal abscesses. .

Nathan Kow, MD

Medical Director, Pelvic Health Program, Urogynecologist

His clinical interest include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas, disorders of the lower urinary tract, and management of mesh complications. Furthermore, he has published on many subjects related to pelvic floor disorders.
Dr. Kow has a strong presence in innovation in the healthcare space. He serves as a key opinion leader for several medical device companies, editorial board member for International Academy of Pelvic Surgery, as well on the advisory board for several healthcare firms. .

Daniel Galante, DO, FACS

Colon and Rectal Surgeon

Daniel Joseph Galante, DO, FACS, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon and Assistant Program Director for the Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship program. His areas of expertise include the use of minimally invasive technologies in colon and rectal cancer treatment, including TAMIS and laparoscopic surgery. He specializes in the surgical treatment of both Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis and is proficient treating all common anorectal diseases including hemorrhoids, fistulas and perianal abscesses. Dr. Galante has published numerous, peer-reviewed articles in medical publications and received the 2016 Gershon Efron, MD Resident of the Year Award from the Sinai Hospital Department of Surgery for commitment to patient care, safety, leadership and teamwork — as selected by faculty and staff of the department.

Lindsay Kissane, MD

Urogynecologist

Lindsay Kissane, MD, FACOG, is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board eligible in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. A graduate of Florida State University and its medical school, Dr. Kissane completed her OB/GYN residency at NYU Winthrop Hospital in New York and her fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Kissane’s clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary and fecal incontinence and vesicovaginal and rectovaginal fistulas.

Julie Schneider, MD

Urogynecologist

Julie Schneider, MD, is a board-certified gynecologist and urogynecologist. Dr. Schneider is the only female physician in Volusia County who is double board certified in gynecology and female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She specializes in urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence, prolapse repair, pelvic floor reconstruction and rehabilitation, overactive bladder, Lichen sclerosus and vulvodynia. Dr. Schneider is also a certified instructor for the treatment of urinary incontinence, urinary frequency, urinary retention and fecal incontinence, using Medtronic therapy.

Elizabeth Sherlock, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Urogynecology

Elizabeth Sherlock, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care to women. She earned her Master of Medical Science degree with honors at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL. Elizabeth is highly experienced in obtaining patient histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests and studies, performing in office procedures and providing pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.

Daniel Hoffman, MD

Urologist

Daniel Hoffman, MD, is a board-certified urologist with fellowship training in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. A native Puerto Rican with fluency in English and Spanish, he completed consecutive residencies in general surgery and urology at the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He then completed his elite fellowship training at New York University Langone Medical Center in New York. His clinical interests include the physiologic assessment of voiding dysfunction through urodynamic testing, and he is a published expert in the management of complex urinary tract fistulae, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and pelvic floor reconstruction.

Teresa deBeche-Adams, MD, FACS, FASCRS

Colorectal Surgeon

Teresa H. deBeche-Adams, MD, FACS, FASCRS, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained colon and rectal surgeon, who treats diseases and disorders of the colon and rectum. Dr. deBeche has dedicated her career to maximizing outcomes while minimizing patient downtime using the revolutionary surgical procedure TAMIS (transanal minimally invasive surgery), and as a daVinci® certified robotic surgeon. With regular participation in specialized medical and surgical conferences addressing pelvic floor pathology and GI tumors, she stays at the forefront of the most advanced technology and innovative techniques. Dr. deBeche is the Director of the Rectal Physiology Lab and a part of AdventHealth Cancer Institute’s Rectal Cancer Program, honored as the third program in the country to be accredited by the National Accreditation Program for Rectal Cancer.

Jeremy Drake, MD

Colorectal Surgeon

Jeremy Drake, MD, is a board-certified colon and rectal surgeon with advanced fellowship training in robotic surgery for colon and rectal cancer. Dr. Drake received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine in Birmingham and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. He is particularly interested in the screening and treatment of colon and rectal cancers, pelvic floor disorders and benign anorectal diseases, including best practices for managing hemorrhoids and fistulas. In addition to being an award-winning physician, Dr. Drake is a former Division I student-athlete and Academic All-American.

Karoline Neumann, APRN, NP-C

Nurse Practitioner, Colorectal Surgery

Karoline Neumann, APRN, NP-C, is a certified family nurse practitioner who earned her Master of Science in Nursing at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee. Karoline has expertise in pelvic floor dysfunction, especially as it relates to bowel health, and assists patients with obtaining optimal health and well-being through a holistic approach. She facilitates a quarterly educational support group which focuses on complementary strategies for wellness. Karoline believes in the divine worth and dignity of every patient and is committed to creating a warm, welcoming and non-judgmental environment to help patients find relief from symptoms and obtain optimal health.

Casey Seltzer, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Urogynecology

Casey Seltzer, PA-C, is a urogynecology physician assistant. She worked for eight years as a physician assistant at Hunt Club Medical in Apopka, Florida, and previously was a physician assistant at Express Family Clinic. Casey has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rollins College and a master’s degree in medical science from Nova Southeastern University. She has been a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians since 2018.

Vivian Aguilar, MD, FACOG, FPMRS

Urogynecologist

Vivian Aguilar, MD, FACOG, FPMRS, is a board-certified urogynecologist specializing in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is passionate about patient care, helping women understand pelvic floor disorders to determine the best treatment options and improve each woman’s quality of life. Dr. Aguilar is honored to serve the women of Celebration and Kissimmee. She is fluent in English and is a native Spanish speaker. As an educator of medical students and residents, she has been honored with several excellence in teaching awards.

Rebeccah Briskin, DO, FACOOG

Urogynecologist

Rebeccah Briskin, DO, FACOOG, is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology and board-eligible in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is committed to offering traditional and holistic options for her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Dr. Briskin received her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology residency at Inspira Health Network, where she was Chief Resident, and a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery fellowship at Henry Ford Health System.

Viviana Casas-Puig, MD, FACOG

Urogynecologist

Viviana Casas-Puig, MD, FACOG, is a board-certified OB/GYN who specializes in urogynecology and performs vaginal, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures. She is passionate about individualized care and improving her patients’ quality of life. Dr. Casas-Puig received her medical degree from the Ponce Health Sciences University, completed a research fellowship at the Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health Institute at the Cleveland Clinic and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society.

Brittany Wright, PA-C

Physician Assistant, Urogynecology

Brittany Wright, PA-C, is a certified urogynecology physician assistant who serves every patient with wholehearted care. She earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at Keiser University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Mount Saint Mary College. Brittany has been a surgical and orthopedic physician assistant in Orlando and Leesburg since 2020. She specializes in care for general surgery, gynecology, urology, obstetrics, family medicine, emergency medicine and orthopedics. In every specialty, Brittany helps patients reach their goals and lead happy, healthy lives.
